Bethlehem Health Care, Inc. is providing educational support/assistance to needy, underprivileged and adolescent girls affected by harmful cultural practices such as Female Genital Mutilation and forceful and early childhood marriages in five counties in Liberia namely, Montserrado, Margibi, Bong, Nimba and Lofa Counties.
The program provides Tuition Assistance (TA) for needy and underprivileged children of school going age and is designed to improve retention, enhance performance, and encourage students to complete school thereby discouraging the practice of returning to these harmful practices.
A little over fifty (50) children in the counties named are currently benefiting from the Tuition Assistance Program which runs from primary to university.
